SQN provides adjacent construction oversight services for projects occurring within or near CTA facilities and infrastructure. The program protects CTA rail and bus operations by coordinating with CTA departments and contractors to ensure construction activities are performed safely and in accordance with CTA requirements. SQN coordinates flagging and inspection services and, when track closures are required, serves as CTA’s Person-in-Charge (PIC), coordinating activities between CTA Rail Operations and the contractor.
