SQN is supporting the development of citywide criteria and design guidelines for future EV charger deployment in Chicago. The project includes a weighted ranking site placing analysis to prioritize charger locations based on equity, demand, accessibility, and constructability, along with the required specifications of a Public Right-of-Way Charging Pilot Program for CDOT. Part of this analysis was to evaluate the feasibility of curbside charging solutions and identify potential specifications to implement based on local utility impacts, ordinances, specifications, and codes.
