Sewer systems were modernized along Pratt Avenue, Oshkosh Avenue, Northwest Highway, and Ozark Avenue. Improvement work included reinforced concrete sewer pipe, manholes, catch basins, and concrete collar installation; construction of 48” and 60” tumbling basins; tying into existing sewers with new connections, and installation of drain connections. Additional project work included traffic control and protection; capping and/or abandonment of existing water mains; all required excavation, trenching, grading, backfilling, and compaction of excavations; and restoration of pavements, curbs, walkways, landscaped areas.
