SQN provided construction management support for the CTA Red Line Dan Ryan Branch Reconstruction project, one of the largest transit infrastructure projects in CTA history. The project involved a full-depth reconstruction of the Red Line from 16th Street to 95th Street, including replacement of rail infrastructure, contact rail systems, drainage, communications, signal systems, and underground utilities during a 154-day line closure. Station improvements included architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical upgrades at eight stations, as well as new elevators at three stations to improve accessibility.
