SQN provided field engineering and construction inspection services for CTA’s East Lake, Milwaukee, and Illinois (ELMI) Substation Rehabilitation project. The project included replacement of major traction power equipment, including transformers, rectifiers, AC and DC switchgear, DC bus systems, and associated cabling. Additional work included rehabilitation of the substation buildings with new roofing, masonry restoration, tuckpointing, bathroom upgrades, and structural modifications.
