SQN provided field engineering, project controls, and quality management services as part of the construction management team for CTA’s Green Line Lake Line and South Mainline Branch Track Rehabilitation project. The project included replacement of track ties, fasteners, foot walks, contact rail chairs, contact rail chair fastenings, and associated signal work between Tower 18, Lake and Wells Streets, Ogden Avenue, and 30th Street. All work was completed during a 54-hour track shutdown over a 12-week period, requiring extensive coordination with CTA forces and rail operations.
