SQN provided construction management services for the CTA Brown Line Train Control System Upgrade project, which modernized train control infrastructure between Armitage and the Merchandise Mart. The project included replacement of aging train control systems with new vital train detection, cab speed controls, three new relay houses, and associated civil, structural, mechanical, and communications upgrades. Construction was phased to integrate new systems with existing infrastructure while minimizing impacts to revenue service.
