The Palatine Frontage Road bridge ramps required replacement of the concrete deck, bearings, expansion joints, and wingwalls as well as structural repairs on the abutment, piers, and stringers. 3,709 feet of roadway was reconstructed including the HMA base and surface, PCC bridge approaches, and aggregate and paved shoulders. The drainage system for both the roadway and bridges was also upgraded.
