SQN provided resident engineering services for upgrades to two electrical tie stations on Metra’s Electric District as part of a program to increase traction power capacity. The project converted the 95th and Riverdale tie stations into full traction power substations with new switchgear, transformers, and associated equipment, along with site improvements, lighting, landscaping, and underground utilities.
