SQN provided construction management support for the modernization of Metra’s Union Pacific North Line, a major infrastructure improvement project involving the replacement of 11 aging bridges between Balmoral Avenue and Addison Street. Work included new steel bridge superstructures, replacement of stone abutments, track improvements, retaining walls, and conversion from wood to concrete ties. SQN provided field engineering, inspection, quality oversight, and project coordination throughout construction.
