SQN provided construction management and project administrative services for NICTD’s Double Track project, a 26.6-mile expansion of the South Shore Line between Michigan City and Gary, Indiana. The project included construction of a second track with signal, power, communications, station, bridge, and civil infrastructure improvements, as well as upgrades to five stations. Under the construction management contract, SQN provided construction oversight, documentation management, inspections, daily reporting, safety and DBE compliance monitoring, and punch list support. Under the project administrative services contract, SQN provided Quality Assurance Manager services, including management of NICTD’s Quality Assurance Program, quality plan reviews, and audit oversight.
